The Road Maintenance Group(RMG) Personnel so far, has cleared almost all affected roads and streets in Villasis from fallen debris and trees caused by typhoon Cosme last saturday May 17, 2008. There were no major damages on roads and bridges. As per report of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, there were 15 affected barangays: 466 families, 1864 persons, 4 totally damaged houses and 49 partially damaged. Relief goods are already prepared and will be distributed today to 400 flooded families in Barangays San Nicolas, Lomboy and Barraca. Mayor Nato has instructed the MSWDO and Municipal Treasurer to process the financial assistance(P2,000.00 - P5,000.00) to be extended to those families whose houses were totally and partially damaged.
