On April 8, 2008, a free Medical and Dental Mission was conducted by the Local Government of Villasis held at the Villasis gymnasium. There were 215 Medical beneficiaries and 217 Dental beneficiaries from the 21 barangays in Villasis. This Medical and Dental Mission is just one of the health programs of the present leadership which aim to build a healthy population as it is a key to socio-economic development of our town. Aside from conducting free medical and dental missions, our local government has increased its budget for medicines to be distributed to all barangays in Villasis. During said medical and dental mission, we had volunteers with big heart to serve the needy people of Villasis: 5 medical doctors, 18 dentists, 12 dental aides, 2 Nurses, 7 midwives and 12 barangay health workers. Free medicines were given to all the beneficiaries.
