Last April 8, 2008, municipal officials and department heads of President Quirino, Sultan Kudarat(shown below) headed by their Hon. Mayor and Vice Mayor visited the town because according to them they wanted to learn from Mayor Nato Abrenica and his LGU Family the techniques how Villasis, a 2nd class municipality became the No.1 municipality entire Pangasinan, 3rd entire Region I and 8th entire the Philippines in terms of Net Income. Many were suprised with this great achivement of Villasis, knowing that the town does not have the highest Gross Income. After all those tangible projects implemented by the present administration, Villasis still garnered the highest Net Income. This is the result of town's self-reliance, unity and cooperation and deep sense of involvement of Villasinians, here and abroad.
