The Municipality of Villasis received as a grant a refrigerated van/truck (shown in the pictures) from the Bureau of Postharvest, Research and Extension, an umbrella of the Department of Agriculture. Surely, this would benefit the marginal farmers in Villasis, who cannot afford the soaring cost of transportation. This refrigerated van/truck will be used in transporting farmers' produce from their farms to the Villasis Trading Post(Bagsakan) at minimal fee only, instead of traders going directly in the farms and buy their produce at lower prices. This would help increase the income of marginal farmers, at the same time, this would ensure that farmers' produce are halled by traders from the bagsakan, thus incresing the municipality's market revenues.
