Soon the renovation of the Villasis Auditorium will start as the ground breaking is scheduled on June 6, 2008. This is another major project of the Abrenica administration to be funded from the proceeds of Villasis Town Fiesta 2008, chaired by Madam Dita G. Abrenica, the very active First Lady of Villasis, with Aileen May Abrena, Miss Villasis 2008. It is always the pride of Mayor Nato to show to other people that VILLASINIANS HERE AND ABROAD are strongly united as manisfested by the various tangible projects undertaken by the present leadership and funded from the proceeds of Villasis town fiestas. It proves that Villasinians have put their full trust in their leaders, headed of course by Mayor Nonato S. Abrenica and what followed has been a mutual relation between administrators and governed towards the rebuilding of Villasis, a stronger and more dynamic town with more united people. All these projects more than speak for themselves as far as Mayor Nato's performance is concerned. YES, our leaders and our people are really working.

Groundbreaking of the Villasis Auditorium

    Today, Friday, June 6, 2008, the groundbreaking of the renovation of the Villasis Auditorium was held with a short program. Rev. Fr. Arturo F. Aquino, Parish Priest of St. Anthony Abbot Parish led the Invocation, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and Himig Villasis. Hon Mayor Nonato S. Abrenica gave the opening remarks. Once again, he graciously thanked the 2008 Villasis Town Fiesta reigning personalities(Aileen May Abrena, Paola Morden & Roxanne Dumenden), their parents and supporters for without their generosity and cooperation, this another landmark in Villasis would have not been made possible. He was also very grateful to the 2008 Villasis Town Fiesta Executive Committee officers chaired by Madam Dita G. Abrenica and 2008 Popularity Contest Committee, headed by Dr. Francisco "Boy" Olivar shown in one of the pictures is the blessing and laying of the time capsule by Rev. Fr. Arturo F. Aquino with Mayor Nato, Vice Mayor Nielo and some SB Members, Mdm. Dita Abrenica, Mdm. Jocelyn Mina, Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Villasis Town Fiesta 2008, Dr. Boy Olivar, Engr. Vladimir Torres, Municipal Engineer and Architects Virgilio and Virgina Domingo. The groundbreaking ceremonies was witnessed by the municipal department heads and employees, NGO's and local residents. The program ended with the closing remarks given by Vice-Mayor Centenielo R. Costales. He said, we should continue working together in bringing more progress and development in Villasis.
