Last March 10, 2008, Mr Leo R. Ordoñez, Municipal Treasurer of Villasis was awarded a Plaque of Recognition from the Office of the Governor, Lingayen, Pangasinan. Picture shown left was Mr. Ordoñez receiving the Plaque and cash award from Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. while Provincial Treasurer Ramon A. Crisostomo and Director Peter D. Baluyan of Bureau of Local Government Finance looked on. The award was given to Mr. Ordoñez in recognition for his invaluable contribution to effective Treasury Operations through exceptional competence and dedication in the collection of government revenues, particularly Real Property Taxes, earning for him and the Municipal Treasury Office the "1st Highest Degree of Efficiency for CY 2007"resulting in the over-all success of the Revenue Generation Program of the province and the municipality.
