A total of 138 senior citizens from Villasis received cash gifts through the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC), in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Villasis and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).
The beneficiaries, composed of octogenarians (80–89 years old), nonagenarians (90–99 years old), and centenarians (100 years old and above), received their cash incentives under Republic Act No. 11982, also known as the Expanded Centenarians Act.
The Expanded Centenarians Act provides cash gifts to senior citizens as they reach advanced ages, recognizing their valuable contributions and promoting their welfare.
