The Department of Agriculture–Regional Field Office I (DA-RFO I), in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Villasis, distributed cash assistance under the Presidential Assistance to Farmers and Fisherfolks Program (PAFFP) to 265 farmer-beneficiaries on September 16, 2026.
The distribution was held at the Villasis Activity Center for farmers who were unable to claim their assistance during the initial distribution on June 5, 2026.
During the activity, Mayor Dita Abrenica also informed the farmers about the LGU’s ongoing fabrication of portable solar-powered irrigation systems, which are intended to help address their irrigation needs and reduce farming expenses.
