Another 50 students and out of school youth benefited from the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) as Mayor Nato and LGU Villasis implements the program for the fourth time under the supervision of the PESO Manager Arnel Arimas.
This year’s SPES beneficiaries were endorsed by their respective Punong Barangay and some were selected walk-in applicants.
In line with their employment which started last July 4 up to July 31, the 50 beneficiaries were deployed on their barangays for Identification and Encoding of Unemployed residents and Overseas Filipino Workers, and Identification of students and out of school youth. The data gathered will soon be utilized by the local government unit of Villasis.
The beneficiaries will be paid in cash wherein the LGU shoulders 60% and 40% shall be paid by the Department of Labor and Employment.
