COA gives VILLASIS, PANGASINAN - “ UNQUALIFIED OPINION”

Another good news which every Villasinians be proud of….

     For the third straight year, the Local Government Unit of Villasis, Pangasinan has obtained an “unmodified/unqualified opinion” from the Commission on Audit (COA) in its annual audit reports for Calendar Years 2016, 2017 and 2018.

     Unmodified/Unqualified opinion is the highest opinion that an auditor can  render after concluding an audit of a certain agency, finding no material misstatements thereof.

 The said reports cover the financial and compliance audit on the accounts and operations of this municipality, in compliance with Section 2, Article IX-D of the Philippine Constitution and pertinent Sections of Presidential Decree No. 1445, otherwise known as the Government Auditing Code of the Philippines.

      Getting an unqualified opinion for three (3) years in a row is a very remarkable  achievements under the administration of Mayor Nonato S. Abrenica.
