Municipal Health Office conducts Dengue and Rabies Forum on July 10, 2018 with Barangay Captains and School Head Teachers and Principals of Villasis, Pangasinan.
To create and provide awareness how to prevent dengue fever and rabies and to promote collaboration among government leaders, DepEd personnel and other linkages to implement dengue and rabies prevention program are among the specific objectives of the event.
Mr. Kimpee John Cruz, Dengue Coordinator Program from Provincial Health Office of Pangasinanserves as the resource speaker in the forumand shared a lot of information regarding dengue and rabies control program.
Mayor Nonato S. Abrenica expressed his gratitude to all participants who joined the forum and wished that they will disseminate the informationand implement dengue and rabies prevention program in their respective community.
Dengue and rabies control action plans was also created by the participants which isfacilitated by Mr. Natalio Agustin, District Sanitary Inspector from Urdaneta District Hospital. These action plans created will served as a control measure and practices in ensuring that the Villasis community will be free from dengue fever and rabies cases.
