“It really feels good sharing what you have and giving back to your own hometown”, this is what MJ Racadio, Blogger/Publicist, one of the organizers and guests of the event.

Giving Back at Villasis is an event organized by MJ Racadio in coordination with the Librarian of Villasis Municipal Library where the event took place. Sixty pupils from Villasis I Central School Sped Center participated in the event. Before the program formally started, the participants were given a team building activity where listening and speaking skills, good communication, cooperation and working under pressure were practiced.

Another special guest, Ms. Lady Diana Alvaro, Performing Musician, Recording Artist and Entrepreneur, graced the event. She shared a story entitled “AngModelong Bata.” The participants listened attentively and they also actively participated in the sharing after the story telling. She also sang with some of the participants. She co-sponsored the event and she gave school supplies to the pupils.

MJ Racadio, on the other hand, chose to share the story of his life. He told the participants that if they dream for something, they have to study hard and never give up until they reach that dream. He also added that it really doesn’t matter if they belong to lower section but what is more important is that they have to finish their college education in order to land a good job in the future. He also added, “never be ashamed if your parents are selling barbecue or street foods just to finance your education but you must be thankful and love your parents for their sacrifices and hard work.” Some pupils are seen teary-eyed while listening to his words.

Feliz Academy Inc. through Mr. Vladimir Mohammad Meriales, School Director, gave set of school supplies to the participants while Ms. Tessa LalicanYusaoenof Dermalite Facial and Skin Care shared her blessings by donating refreshments which the participants really enjoyed. The Municipal Officials of Villasis were also very kind by donating for the event.
“This is just a start of a very worthy endeavor. We will have more events like this in the future,” said MJ Racadio.
