December 8, 2017 was a red-letter day for members of the Ladies’ Brigade (LaB) of Villasis, Inc. It was LaB’s 16th Christmas Party and Induction of new members.
The celebration was attended by Mayor Nato who inducted the new members. Also in attendance were Sangguniang Bayan members led by Vice Mayor Jesus Franco “Butch” Sison.
One of the highlights of the yearly Christmas Party was the awarding of the LGU Villasis Pangkabuhayan Assistance to 22 lucky beneficiaries, each received five thousand (P5,000) pesos namely; Mariana Salvador- Amamperez, Delia M. Dizon- Bacag, Marlyn O. Ramirez- Barangobong, Lolita Bascos- Barraca, Lolita B. Manantan- Capulaan, Marissa M. Sarmiento- Caramutan, Perla F. Marzan- Lapaz, MArivic Domingo- Labit, Vanessa R. Cruz- Lipay, Arceli Balbin- Lomboy, Martha Ventura- Piaz, Cherrylou Javier- Poblacion Zone I, Analyn Motea- Poblacion Zone II, Elisa Cariaso- Poblacion Zone III, Marta Libutaque- Poblacion- Zone IV, Ma. Cristina de Vera- Poblacion Zone V, Cresencia Mones- San Blas, Nancy Olivar- Tombod, Leonora R. Atun- Puelay, Rinalyn Dingle- Unzad, and Fely Evangelista- LaB Officer (Capulaan).
Hundred of Christmas gifts were also raffled to members courtesy of generous benefactors.
As the LaB president, Nenita Mari, welcomed the new members, Former Mayor Dita Abrenica, the LaB founder, thanked the LGU for the Pangkabuhayan assistance, guests for their presence, benefactors for their Christmas gifts and enjoined all members to share their love and blessings to everyone.
