The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Villasis was recognized with two 2026 PhALGA Excellence Awards, highlighting our municipality's commitment to good governance, transparency, and responsible management of public funds.
One of the awards was given to LGU Villasis for being a recipient of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for CY 2024 during the term of Former Mayor Nato Abrenica.
LGU Villasis also received another 2026 PhALGA Excellence Award for obtaining an Unmodified Opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) on its 2024 Financial Statements thru the indispensable efforts of the Municipal Accounting Office led by Marlene M. Francisco, CPA.
