DSWD-RO1 in partnership with the local government unit of Villasis provides Microenterprise Development- Skills Training (MD-ST) cum Provision of Seed Capital Assistance through Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) to 248 4Ps beneficiaries in Villasis.

The Skills Training is given to eligible SLP Participants to enhance their skills for higher productivity and profitability and aims to improve the socio-economic capacity of the beneficiaries. The training is funded by the DSWD and LGU Villasis amounting to 3,782,210.00.

Microenterprise Development-Skills Training is composed of Goat Production and Management, Hog Raising and Management, Provision of Seed Capital Fund for Rice Retailing and Sari-sari Store, Skills Training on Basic Bookkeeping and Management, Business Management for Food Cart, Cattle Fattening Technology and Management and Skills Training on Computer (Computer Servicing NCII).

The Skills Training will be under the supervision of Mrs. Lilibeth Abrenica, Municipal Social Welfare Development Officer, Mrs. Haidee R. Suyat, SLP Focal Person, Ms. Arlene F. Macabio, SLP-IPDOII and Mr. Warren Bustillo, Monitoring PDO- DSWD-RO1.
