A total of four hundred sixty (460) bags of certified palay seeds, 140 bags under the High Quality Seeds (HQS) and 320 bags under the buffer stocking, all provided by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office- I to the Municipality of Villasis, were distributed to bonafide farmer-beneficiaries on June 21, 2017 at the Villasis Drying Facility.

All farmers were invited by the Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Mr. Reynaldo Mundo through barangay officials. The 460 farmer-beneficiaries were chosen by draw-lots as instructed by Mayor Nato for impartial and transparent distribution in accordance with the percentage of attendees of each barangay.
