The Local Government Unit of Villasis proudly announces that the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Villasis, under the leadership of PESO Manager Arnel Arimas, PhD, has been recognized as one of the successful finalists in the 2024 National Search for Best PESO Award – 1st Class Municipality Category.
This honor is awarded by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to outstanding PESOs across the country that demonstrate excellence in employment facilitation, livelihood services, and workforce development. The recognition highlights PESO Villasis’ wholehearted and unwavering commitment to providing quality employment services to the people of Villasis.
PESO Villasis has consistently implemented programs that connect job seekers with employment opportunities, promote career guidance, support skills development, and strengthen partnerships with national agencies and private institutions—contributing greatly to local economic growth and community development.
The Plaque of Recognition was formally received by Mr. Kim Cortez on behalf of PESO Villasis during the 25th National PESO Congress held on October 15, 2025, at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City, Cavite. This achievement was made possible through the dedication of the PESO team, the strong leadership of PESO Manager Arnel Arimas, PhD, and the continued support of the municipal government led by Former Mayor Nato Abrenica, whose administration greatly strengthened employment services in Villasis.
