In line with the celebration of National Women’s Day, the local government unit of Villasis conducted Free Papsmear, Free Make-over and Symposium on March 8, 2018.
Free Papsmear, Bone Scanning and Fat Analysis for women were conducted at the Municipal Health Office/ Center and were sponsored by the Ladies Brigade of Villasis and the LGU. 108 patients availed the service with the assistance of Dr. Sylwin Nazareno-Go, OB-Gynecologist and Dr. Frances Saura-Sanchez, the Pathologist.
GAD-Focal Point System Technical Working Group Focal Chairperson, Mrs. Haidee Suyat conducted a symposium with the theme “End Women Violence” at the Public Auditorium wherein she lectured about Types of Violence and its Consequences. Mayor Nato, Former Mayor Dita Abrenica and Atty. Judith Morden also graced the said event.
After the symposium, a free make-over or “Serbisyo para kay Juana” was also given to the participants; Free Foot/Head Massage from the Villasis Spa & Wellness Center and Seventh Day Adventist Reform and Free Haircut and Eyebrow Treatment from Villasis Gay Association.
