The Villasis District I School Heads and Science/Math Coordinators, headed by the District Supervisor, Dr. Jocelyn R. Mina, paid a courtesy call to Mayor Nonato S. Abrenica after the 15th National Science & Math Quest held at Teachers' Camp, Baguio City on February 09 - 11, 2018.

Villasis I garnered major awards in the said quest which was participated in by the different regions of the country

The activities of the National Science Quest were focused on the theme: “Producing New ScientistsThrough Innovations, Competitions and Inventions for the Sustainability of Clean and Green Environment to Save Mother Earth.” The said event,which was initiated by the Association of Science Educators of the Philippines (ASEP), aims to promote academic excellence in the sciences.
