The Local Government Unit of Villasis, under the leadership of Mayor Libradita G. Abrenica, has achieved a major milestone after receiving its 10th consecutive Unmodified Opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for Fiscal Year 2025.
According to COA, an Unmodified Opinion is issued when auditors determine that an entity’s financial statements are fairly presented, in all material respects, and comply with applicable financial reporting standards. This is considered the highest audit opinion that can be granted by the Commission on Audit.
The Local Government Unit of Villasis extends its appreciation to Mrs. Marlene Francisco, Head of the Municipal Accounting Office, and her dedicated team for their diligence and commitment in ensuring the timely preparation and submission of all required financial reports and supporting documents. Their efforts played a vital role in securing this recognition for Fiscal Year 2025.
