Villasis took part on the first Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Municipal Hall Open Grounds. The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), Villasis Police Officers and Bureau of Fire Protection Officers were assigned on assisting the drill.
The NSED was said to be a nationwide training not only to intensify preparedness but also strengthen LGU’s commitment on a disaster resilient community. Through proper training and information dissemination, the residents could reduce the risks and minimize its disastrous outcomes.
After the drill, post-evaluation was conducted at the Municipal Conference Room headed by the Incident Commander, Engr. Vladimir Torres together Deputy Rodrigo Lubiano and PNP Officers, BFP Personnel and Department Heads.
