Talong Festival Street dancers from Piaz National High School in Villasis bagged the much-coveted Grand Championship Award in the recently concluded Pandan Festival Street dance Competition in Mapandan,Pangasinan on March 19,2017. Beating all the other contingents from different parts of the province,these street dancers from Villasis captivated the crowd with their clean and well-synchronized performance therefore,eventually adjudged to receive also all the minor awards of the said competition namely: Best in Choreography,Best in Musicality,Best in Costume and Best in Street Dancing.
Villasis Talong Festival is an annual celebration of the townspeople to pay homage and thanksgiving to the Almighty God for the abundant blessings and prosperity He bestows over the years. The festival includes various activities highlighted by the street dancing competition among secondary schools of the town.
