Villasis celebrates Town Fiesta every January in honour of their Patron Saint, St. Anthony Abbot.
The whole town of Villasis was in a festive mood as the Town Fiesta officially started on January 11, 2018 with a parade at dawn of VMUF Drum and Bugle Corps around the business central district. As always, Villasinians celebrate the first day with a Thanksgiving Service/Night spearheaded by the Association of Christian Churches of Villasis (ACCV).
Townspeople of Villasis paint the town red as they celebrate “Talong Festival” on January 12. ABS-CBN Umagang Kay Ganda (UKG) covered the early morning event featuring vegetable float parade and creative gowns of Bb. Villasis candidates.
At 8:00 AM, Field Demonstration featuring Festivals of the Philippines was held at the Open Grounds of Villasis Gymnasium. A total of 8 contingents from the different Elementary Schools competed. "Dinagyang Festival" was declared the Champion; "Sinulog Festival", 1st runner-up and "Bangus Festival", 2nd runner-up.

Pinakbet sa Kawa by the 21 barangays provided lunch for their barangaymates.
Talong Bumbong: Talong Cookfest 2018 Best Menu
Twenty-three unique talong recipes were showcased during the Talong Cookfest at the Villasis Auditorium and “Talong Bumbong” was chosen the best recipe for this year’s Talong Cookfest. Villasis Talong Cookfest is under the able chairmanship of Former Mayor Dita Abrenica, who’s also the Founder of the active women organization in Villasis, Ladies’ Brigade.
6 DIFFERENT FESTIVALS COMPETE FOR STREET DANCING COMPETITION
Street Dancing Competition is considered as one of the biggest and most awaited events during Talong Festival and this year’s Street Dancing Competition Contingents were invited from the 4th, 5th and 6th district of Pangasinan.
“Kalabasa Festival” of Umingan was declared as the Champion for this year’s Street Dancing Competition with a 100,000 cash prize and a trophy. “Mais Festival” of Alcala- second place with 80,000 cash prize and trophy and “Mais Festival” of Binalonan won as the third and received 60,000 cash prize and trophy.
Talong Festival Concert
The culminating event of the Talong Festival is the Concert featuring the “Aegis Band”, Kapuso Stars Mike Tan and Kris Bernal and other Stand-up Comedian. The concert ended with a grand fireworks display.

Bb. Zone II, Princess Joy Gamboa was crowned the Bb. Villasis 2018 at the Coronation Night at Villasis Auditorium on January 13, 2018 together with the First Princess, Minindy B. Quirona and Second Princess, Angielyssa Jychelle Obedoza.
Regional Director PCSupt Romulo E. Sapitula and Former Mayor Dita Abrenica crowned Bb. Villasis, Princess Joy Gamboa.
PSSupt. Ronald Lee and GM Susan Sison crowned First Princess, Minindy B. Quirona.
Vice Mayor Jesus Franco “Butch” Sisona nd Ms. Willie Balbin-Michaels crowned Second Princess, Angielyssa Jychelle Obedoza.
The winners for the Aksiyon ng Barangay Konseho Kontra Droga (ABaKaDa) were announced during Barangay Night at the Villasis Auditorium.
ABaKaDa is a newly-implemented program of Mayor Nato in support to Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s battle against illegal drugs which was launched last February 2017.
After three evaluations, Brgy. Capulaan was declared “Champion” receiving communication set for Barangay Hall and Barangay Patrol, and cash prize. Followed by Tombod, 1st place and Barangobong, 2nd place.
The cash prizes will be allocated for the different projects of the barangay in line with eliminating drugs and peace and order.

Another award was also given to Brgy. Puelay, the "Biggest Delegation" award during the Barangay Night.
