The Municipality of Villasis is a beneficiary of the generosity of WILCON DEPOT, INC. who donated 480 units of Covid 19 Rapid Test Kits as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Handing over the donation to Mayor Nato Abrenica and Municipal Health Officer Dr. Gloria A. Liberato in behalf of the Wilcon Depot, Inc. is Mr. Francis Lazaro, the Assistant Vice President for Sales and Operations, Ms. Angelour Hope De Leon, the Operations Manager and Mr. Roy Labatan, the Materials Manager of Wilcon Depot – Villasis. On hand to witness the turnover is MPDC Rod Mina, who made the request for the donation as the Executive Officer of the Villasis Anti-Covid 19 Task Force (VAC19TF).
Mayor Nato thanked Wilcon Depot profusely and praised them for fulfilling their CSR to the Municipality of Villasis. He said the donation is very timely because the test kits purchased by the Municipality is already down to less than 20 units.
The test kits are vital to the efforts of the Municipality, which remains Covid-free, to guard against the Covid virus as we can now test people coming into the town because it has been noticed that the surge of positive cases in the province came from people coming in from abroad and other places especially, Metro Manila.
