MAYOR NATO SWEARS NEWLY-ELECTED BARANGAY OFFICIALS TO OFFICE

 November 20, 3023. In a show of unity, all the 168 newly-elected barangay officials (21 Barangay Captains and 147 Barangay Kagawads) from the 21 Barangays of the Municipality of Villasis were sworn to office today at the Villasis Covered Auditorium by Mayor Nato Abrenica.

In his message, Mayor Nato reminded the Barangay Officials that they should be magnanimous in victory because in public service, humility is always a virtue. He likewise reminded them of the message by 5th District Congressman Monching Guico that in the best interest of their constituents, it is better for them to align with the administration.

Vice Mayor Che Tan, likewise, said that she believes that their winning as barangay officials is a divine will and that they should perform their duties well with dedication and perseverance in pursuit of that will.
